The Gold-Seekers of Sonora

In the year 1808 the ghastly murder of contessa Luisa, a young widow, in the small Basque town of Elantxobe on the Iberian Peninsula, remains unsolved. The contessa´s two year old son, Fabian is abducted and set adrift in a rowing boat, and left at the mercy of the rough seas in the Bay of Bisquay. In 1830, in the Mexican Sonora, a twenty-four-year-old young man, a famous rastreador and skilled horse tamer named Tiburcio receives a treasure map from his dying foster mother. He vows to bring to justice  the man who killed her husband for the immense gold treasure he found in the dangerous Apache lands. Tiburcio sets out on his quest and while on the trail of the killer, he begins to lift the veil on his mysterious past and his true identity. But the gold seems to be cursed, for all who glimpse it meet with certain death.
